Day One Options
As flight arrival times differ throughout the year and depending on flight company you may have some time to kill on your first day ........... not a problem! If you want we can point you in the direction of the marina and the excellent bars, cafes and restaurants so that you can just chill out, catch up with your mates and have a few cold ones. Alternatively we are happy to show you around the marina and the surrounding area and point out some of the local interests, or maybe you just want to crash out around the villa, soak up some sun, watch some TV etc. Whatever floats your boat is fine with us, let us know before you arrive or play it by ear when you get here, the choice as they say is yours ...... it is your holiday after all!!!!
Skill Levels
As we leave our base at the bottom of the mountain we are no more than a couple of hundred meters from the start of the trails. We have many trails to choose from, whether you are a beginner or an expert. We will take you on a journey through the spectacular Sierra Nevada and Sierra Gador mountains where sights and wildlife will blow your mind. AND unlike Green Laneing there isn't a gate to be seen, never mind opened!!
We can accommodate all skill levels and mixed skilled groups. The way we plot the routes we always have an novice, intermediate and expert option of getting from A to B, so don't worry that the riding will be too easy (or too hard for you). We will advise you before each stage which option we think is best for you ...... please listen to us as we have been taking people round these trails for a long time now and we know them extremely well. We don't want you or your friends holiday spoilt by a bit of rash showing off!!!
The more days you ride with us the more options we have, and the tougher and more varied the trails and routes are. Don't worry though if you find your holiday wasn't long enough, you can always book to come out again ....... many do!!!
Evening Meals
The first night is included down in Almerimar in a local restaurant (don't worry we can provide a non Spanish option as well if you are not that adventurous with your food). Typically we take you to a restaurant that offers Paella or Steak so you should be ok. Obviously we have to eat as a group, and the Paella requires a minimum of two people, but don't worry. We will sort everything out, just let us know when you book if you have any special dietary needs or preferences.
There are a number of restaurant options in Berja including a very popular chinese which seems to be where nearly everybody goes. We have been know to do a take away run so we can all sit around the pool, drink some beer, play pool, darts, chat etc etc.
On your last night we will provide an excellent BBQ and booze (see below)
Photographer
The photographer joins us first thing in the morning on your second day of riding to take some photos as we get ready, and record some video of your thoughts, expectation and views on the day ahead.
During the day he will take a mix of posed and action photographs of you individually and of the group. He will also take some video of us riding which is then edited in with the helmet cam footage and a personal DVD of your off road adventure produced. If you have any specific requirements regards a photograph or want him to take some pictures with your own camera just ask, he doesn't bite (well not yet anyway).
At the end of the day he will go through all the photos with you and let you pick a favourite individual and group one which he will then print out in A4 for you, so along with a CD with all the photos on you also get two A4 Colour photos of your choice.
Both the photos and the DVD are ready the next day so either in time for your return flight, or to enjoy the next evening over a beer.
BBQ
On the last night we treat you to a real meat feast, with baked potatoes, salads, breads, deserts and of course beer and wine. All included in the price.
After a few days hard riding there is nothing better than an evening around the pool, drinking with your mates, watching the DVD of your holiday and eating some perfectly cooked BBQ. Trust us we know ......... everyone says it is the perfect end to a perfect holiday.
