My sister called me the other day and asked if she could use my vehicle to drive her daughter back to college this weekend. She said that she wanted to sign up for temporary car insurance to cover my car, but that her internet was out and wondered if I would fill out the information for her. I was on my way to the library when she called me, but told her that I would take care of it as soon as I got home. After I got to the library, I decided that I would go ahead and fill out the information while I was there and have everything finished and ready for her to pick up the car. It only took me a short while to sign up for the insurance, which actually amazed me. I set up the temporary car insurance policy to activate about three hours before my sister would be leaving and to lapse twenty-four hours after she would be home-just in case she was delayed for some reason. My sister was very happy that I took care of everything for her and all she had to do was drive my niece back to school.
